UK couple orders $1,200 in meals, leaves child to cover the bill; arrested

In a bizarre incident, a UK couple was arrested by police after they were accused of several ‘dine and dashes’ at restaurants after they ordered free meals worth $1,200. Despite multiple complaints by restaurant owners, they managed to escape because initially the the police didn't view the scheme as an emergency, reported the New York Post.  Despite restaurant owners' repeated complaints, the couple, 39-year-old Ann and her partner McDonagh, escaped initially as police downplayed the situation, not considering it an emergency, The New York Post reported.

THESE five monuments in Ireland may have 'routes for dead' towards afterlife, archaeologists suggest

Traces of hundreds of monuments, which were previously unknown, have been identified in an archaeological survey.  Amongst these monuments, five of them have been found to be "incredibly rare" prehistoric structures which once may have the hidden "routes for the dead" into the afterlife. The survey was conducted by the University of Aberdeen Department of Archaeology's James O'Driscoll, with the use of LiDAR technology. 

Myanmar repatriates more Rohingya Refugees

In a coordinated early morning operation on Thursday Bangladesh repatriated 288 members of Myanmar Security Forces who had sought Refuge across the border. The group included members from the Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP), Army and immigration units.
