Tripura Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Tripura will witness Lok Sabha Elections 2024 for the two parliamentary seats in two phases, featuring an electoral battle between the ruling BJP-led NDA and Congress and CPI (M) of the INDIA bloc.
The state’s regional party, TIPRA Motha, is in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Currently, BJP holds both the Lok Sabha seats in Tripura, which the party won with a thumping majority.
However, the BJP has decided to field new nominees in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. They’re fielding Biplab Kumar Dev, Tripura’s former chief minister, and TIPRA Motha’s Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma.

Tripura Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Constituencies
There are two Lok Sabha constituencies in Tripura, Tripura East and Tripura West. In the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Rebati Tripura and Pratima Bhoumik, both BJP candidates, won from their respective constituencies. Bhoumik was appointed Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment of India and the first-ever resident of Tripura who became a minister in the union cabinet.
